Support for the young

We empower youth, street children and orphans in Addis Ababa and in Melka Uda, Shashamane, 250 km south of Addis Ababa and support:

J.R.D.C. School / international kindergarten
Yawentas Children’s Center
RasTafari Family Center, Addis Ababa (mission)

All donations made via UPIA flow directly into the projects mentioned above and into related social infrastructure.
The aim is to maintain and improve their core capabilities so that the whole community is served and can grow.

Shashemane:

Get involved with UPIA to strengthen the foundation and empower even more Shashemane street children in a positive and wholistic way!

Beside instant measures like providing food, clothes or a football to play, we are trying to identify children who are living under unbearable circumstances in order to improve their social situation with care and as the individual case may be, an education in school.

Yabtsega (literally “God’s Glory”) needs your help!

All donations referring to Yabtsega or Selam will therefore be used to buy all necessary items required directly, wherefore it is also intended to create a bank account for the boy as soon as possible to finally improve Yabtsegas future outlook with personal sponsorships in a long term view.
