Community Building
We help to build up the wider Kasupe community and a Rastafari HQ in Lusaka, Zambia.
As you can see in the pictures and videos, the community-building project in Kasupe, on the outskirts of Zambia’s capital Lusaka, is still at the beginning but growing quickly. We aim to secure more land, set up small shops and develop self-sufficient farming (for example permaculture). Step by step we are building the infrastructure to welcome repatriates from the African diaspora and international visitors.
One aim is to create a proper setting where gatherings in the heart of Africa can be hosted on special occasions. Our beloved bredren and sistren on the ground in Zambia – for example Daughter Empress Menen, a qualified bank clerk – are already doing a great job distributing donations and coordinating local companies that support and empower the community.

After finishing the drill and billing for the water supply our instant next steps shall provide a pump and 5000l water tank – estimated costs ca. 21000 kwacha/ 1000€ – plus tank-stand: ca. 18000 kwacha/ 800 €
Expected costs in summary: 38000 kwacha/ ca. 1800€
